Monsoonal Flooding - Verde River -7/25/21
Just upstream from Cottonwood Ditch diversion dam at the foot of Tuzigoot. Note the detention basin on the left. This prevents "sheet flow" from the tailings remediation project west of Tuzigoot from reaching the river. This is the first time that basin has ever been full since its construction in 2006.
